| Congress stages protest against Dy. CM in Samba, burns effigy | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Aug 3 :Samba Congress unit held protest demonstration at Main Chowk of National Highway Samba and torched the effigy of Dy CM, Dr Niramal Singh under the leadership of Subash Bhagat. According to press release, Arun Sharma along with prominent Congress workers, delegates Thakur Gambir Singh , Sandeep Sharma, Rajan Sharma, Dinash Singh, Ram Murti, Sourav Bhgat and others were also participated in the protest demonstation. All the protesters were shooting slogans against Jammu and Kashmir government specially BJP-PDP coalition government's Deputy CM over controversial statement accidental killing of HM Commander Burhan Bani by security forces. Speaking before the protesters, Subash Baghat alleged that Dy CM has given a wrong statement which is against the national interest and its integrity. "Dy CM has termed the incident as accident. It shows BJP has compromised everything for chair but Congress will not tolerate any anti-national statement or support for separatists," he added. He further said that Nirmal Singh and his team has been toeing line of separatists and supporting militancy in Kashmir as violence graph has increased from the day, coalition came into being in Jammu and Kashmir. |
