PDP leader, 5 ors held for firing in air over land dispute 8/4/2016 12:09:05 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 3: Panic gripped the Khour area on Wednesday evening when Personal Security Officers (PSO) of a People's Democratic Party leader fired some rounds in air with his service weapon over a land dispute at Pargwal area falling under the jurisdiction of Khour police station. Police have registered a case and arrested six persons, including the PDP leader Rajinder Singh Manhas of Patta Bohri Jammu and his PSOs, Sgct Ram Parshad (PSO to Rajinder Singh), Mukesh son of Tarseem of Mandal Phallian, Bablu Kumar son of Darshan Lal of Phallian Mandaal, Ashwani Kumar son of Tara Chand (driver of Rajinder Singh Manhas) and Sgct. Ram Parshad (PSO to Rajinder Singh Manhas). Police sources said that today at 1730 hrs at Nai Basti Pargwal a clash broke out between two groups over a land dispute following which five persons sustained injuries with sharp-edged weapon. Two of the injured Bachan Lal son of Major Ram and Rakesh Kumar son of Bachan Lal of Nai Basti Pargwal were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for specialized treatment.
