Health department to take action against erring official 8/3/2016 10:40:48 PM Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Poonch , Aug 3: On first of August 2016 three staff members of health department beat a local Mohammad Yaseen of rural areas of Surankote tehsil. Yaseen informed the matter to Early Times which published the story in newspaper on third of August 2016. The impact of the said news came out when action has taken by Chief Medical Officer Poonch Dr. Niaz Ahmed held an investigation meeting at Sub District Hospital Surankote. While the CMO was asked as to what action was taken against staff members of the hospital, he said strong action under law will be taken against involved staff members. CMO told Early Times that he will inquire the matter and appropriate action will be taken.
