CSD workers recall Azad's tenure as JK CM | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, Aug 3: District Congress Seva Dal Kishtwar has said that the two year tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir from 2006 to 2008 is still being considered as best governance period of the state. CSD workers held an emergent meeting under the leadership of its district chief organizer Ravi Kumar Shan said particularly on the development front Azad is the person having clean image in politics not only at state level , he is an honest name of national politics of India as well. His two year tenure as J&K CM and his contribution in the health sector of J&K has left a great impact among the masses. The tenure of Azad is treated fairly and equal justices for all sections of the society people's upto grass root levels for development and employment of the state. Shan said but in present only due to their wrong policies of the state/central BJP PDP govt on one side the state is burning and on other side BJP and its corporate company management adopting the discriminatory and communal policy against local skills of the Chenab valley Congress/NC workers in BHEP JP Company,for employment. He said that local educated skilled sacrificed own full life for the completion of 900MW electric power supply for the better future of the state/nation and these skilled hard work contribution would not be ignored. He also demanded release of compensation in favour of proceed to leave engineers and other staff without any delay so they can get the relief, it is the duty of govt. and its company management. And if relief package is not release in favour of said company staff then Congress Seva Dal would start the strong protest against govt. and its corporate at all distt headquarters, he said. |
