Kishtwar, Aug 3: A doctor and two medical employees were today placed under suspension by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Thathri, for dereliction of duties. Official sources said during a surprise checking of PHC, Malanoo, by SDM, Thathri, Akhtar Hussain Qazi, Dr Shakeel Ahmad Kichloo (dental surgeon), dental assistant Annie Kumar and senior assistant Shahnaz Tabassum were found absent from their duties. As per the hand written order issued by the SDM vide No 1/SDM/Camp dated August 3, 2016, all the three health officials were placed under suspension with immediate effect. While Dr Shakeel was attached with CMO office, Doda, the other two were attached with PHC, Malanoo. While talking to Early Times, the SDM said the concerned DDOs had been directed not to release the salaries of all the suspended employees till the outcome of the inquiry. He said he also met several people who put forth various demands for which necessary directions were issued to the concerned officials. |
