Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 3: A meeting of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha held its meeting under the presidentship of Vinod Gupta in which members deliberated upon celebration of Independence Day and to condole sudden demise of Smt Rekha Gupta w/o Chaman Lai Gupta, Former Union Minister. During the meeting the members also discussed the latest status of election process including court-cases. After detailed deliberations, on all the three issues, the members unanimously resolved to hold a impressive function will be held at Shalamar Bhawan to mark Independence Day. It was informed Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly has consented to be the Chief-Guest while Rajesh Gupta, MLA will be Guest of Honour and Flag will be hoisted at 11 am Sharp. The member also on behalf of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha extended heartfelt condolences to bereaved family. "Besides, an appropriate message may be published in local newspapers, they said. Besides following cases in court, there is need to make one more attempt for reconciliation, members said while referring to the dispute over elections of the Sabha. For this purpose a unanimous view emerged that eleven prominent persons of Mahajan Biradhari be nominated to constitute reconciliation committee in order to see that some out of court-settlement could be made possible.
