AIJMS team visits border villages | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 11: A team of All India Jat Maha Sabha (AIJMS) today visited border villages of Tehsil Hiranagar of district Samba. According to press release, AIJMS-J&K President Ch Man Mohan Singh said that the team toured the border villages including Airwan, Barmora, Pandori, Dayalachak, Rajbhag, Behari, Sanji Morh and Banyari to access the loss incurred due to heavy rain by the community whose is totally dependent on Agriculture and allied activities and land has eroded due to flash floods. While speaking on the occasion, the President said that the youth of our community has been scarifying their lives along the length and breadth of the country in Army, Air force, Navy, police and other Paramilitary forces. Not only this, Jats are dying in Shelling from across the PAK border. During present time of Terrorism and in the past during different Wars with PAK, China, the causality count of JATs is 50 percentof total casualties inflicted to Indian Army and Para military forces. Every 2nd Soldier dying for country is a JAT. This community is fighting since years for their rights of one time settlement compensation and RBA along the Indo-Pak Border. The JAT community should not be ignored in the better interest of the Nation and appealed that the community demands should be accepted forthwith. While interaction with the people, President stressed upon the community to educate their children so that they can be able to face various challenges of life since only key to success is education. Those who spoke on the occasion are Dewan Singh Om Singh, Subash Singh, Sat Pal, Darshan Lal and Chandu Singh. |
