‘Azadi’ seekers apprehended with Charas, Fuki in Bijbehara, set free | | | Early Times Report Anantnag, August 11: Four drug smugglers, presently leading anti-India and Pro-freedom rallies were apprehended by locals with cannabis worth Lakhs of rupees (Charas) in Kandipora Village of Bijbehara during intervening night. Reports said that during the intervening night, a group of youngsters intercepted a Tata Sumo in Kandipora village of Bijbehara and during frisking seized a large quantity of cannabis (Charas and Bhukki). They said that two other private cars fallowing the Tata Sumo vehicle were also ferrying the banned narcotics. All the four smugglers, said to be residents of Sirhama village of Bijbehara were beaten during the whole night and their vehicles were damaged. Group of youth tasked to check every passing vehicle in the village have video-graphed the whole incident. Sources said that all the four smugglers, who contributed to ongoing unrest in many ways, were set fee. They said that very recently Sirhama residents projected one among the apprehend smugglers main leader of recently constituted Itehad-e-Milat- group representing of sects and walks of life. “He was set to be chief of Itehad-e-Milat but was dropped at lost moment,” a villager whishing not be named said. He revealed that all of them have even provided financial support for organizing rallies in the village in past month. Surprisingly, the incident wasn’t reported to police and smugglers were set free.
