Police public meeting held at Janipur 8/11/2016 11:48:55 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 11: To strengthen the Police-Public relations and bring the people closer to the Police, today a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting held at Janipur wherein Dy.SP Headquarters Jammu Sugandha Mahajan and SHO Janipur Inspector Varinder Gupta were present. A large number of people including prominent citizens and youths of the area participated. At the outset of the meeting, the participants were welcomed by the chairing Police officer and requested them to put forth their genuine problems. During the meeting issues like-drug abuse, traffic violation, rash driving, eve-teasing were discussed. People were also requested to get conduct the tenants verification who are residing in their area. Besides, they were made aware about impending threats from Anti-National Elements (ANEs) in view of forth coming Independence Days-2016 and asked to remain alert and co-operate the Police during naka checking and maintaining law and order.
