JAMMU, Aug 17: Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu Arun Manhas today convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements for Janamashtmi celebrations.
It was informed in the meeting that the Shobha Yatra will be taken out on August 24th which will pass through main bazaars of old Jammu city.
SP Security Kulwant Singh, SP Traffic Suneel Raj, SP City Vinod Kumar, Deputy CMO J. P. Singh, Executive Engineer PHE V. K. Khajuria, Executive Engineer PDD Ashok Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director Fire & Emergency Services Ashok Wangoo, AEE PWD Yasir Kichloo, Health Officer JMC Saleem Khan, representatives of various religious organizations and other officers from concerned departments attended the meeting.
Threadbare discussion was held on various issues pertaining to security arrangements, traffic regulation, fire services, cleanliness, drinking water arrangements, un-interrupted power supply, medical arrangements etc.
ADC Jammu stressed upon the officers to ensure adequate arrangements well in advance for the smooth conduct of Shobha Yatra and Janamashtmi. |
