Protest held against power deptt 8/17/2016 9:56:40 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Aug 17: Angry villagers of Niall village of tehsil Manjakot lodged a strong protest against PDD for their failure to provide electricity to the villages. The protesting villagers came at Exen office Rajouri and raised slogans against the department in the office promises. While expressing great resentment, they said that about three years back a transformer of 25 kv was installed at Niali village under RGGY, but the department paid no attention to make it functional. In this ultra modern technology world they said village is deprived of basic facility of electricity. Locals of area namely Mohd Ayub, Shamsheer Hussain while expressing great anguish said that due to careless attitude of power department they have to face lot of hardships. Students' community is the most sufferers due to this pathetic attitude.
