Vaishno Devi Shrine Board frames task force to keep vigil on 13-km long track | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 14: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has constituted task force to keep vigil especially in landslide prone locations on 13-km track to Bhawan from Katra base camp situated in Trikuta foothills of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir.''We have constituted a special task force, which keeps vigil on track from Ban Ganga to Bhawan particularly at the locations which are more prone to landslides,'' Ajeet Kumar Sahu, CEO, Shrine Board told reporters at the sidelines of a function at village Kakrayal in Katra. The CEO said the task force if finds any vulnerable spot on the track, experts from the Board are being informed and they are immediately rushed to the spot to find a way out so that untoward like incident can be timely prevented. He however, said once in a day, the task force makes a visit to the track. Sahu further said the Vaishno Devi tracks will soon also have Wifi facility for the pilgrims, adding, ''our proposals are underway with various telecom service providers and once everything gets cleared, the wifi service will be made operational en route Bhawan.'' He also said two Out Patient Departments under the banner of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Hospital, Kakryala, Katra will be started in Jammu and Udhampur and the patients diagnosed at these clinics will be treated at the hospital accordingly by a team of specialised doctors. |
