Minister gets SHO transferred | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 14: A BJP minister has got the SHO of a police station transferred from his constituency for not following his diktats. The SHO was allegedly not obeying the minister's orders which made him angry. He called up the senior officer of his district and asked him to forthwith transfer him from his constituency. He also asked the officer not to post him as SHO of any other police station in the district, police sources said. Acting on the minister's orders, the officer transferred the SHO and attached him with DPL. He was posted in the district some time back, the sources added. Sources said while the senior district officer asked him to call on the minister to get his transfer stopped, he refused to do so. "He has been replaced by the Inspector who was earlier transferred from the police station on complaint basis. The minister has adjusted the officials of his choice in almost every department in the district," the sources added. For not toeing his line, the minister had earlier also got a few SHOs and other officials transferred from the district, sources informed. |
