| MLC Jugal tours far-off panchayats of Pancheri | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Sept 25: Congress Legislature Party leader in State Legislative Council MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma today toured far off Panchayats of Block and Tehsil Pancheri.
During his visit to two panchayats of Galliote and Badhota, MLC Jugal Kishore interacted with the locals and patiently listened to their problems and hardships. While interacting with the MLC, the villagers of the two panchayats raised several issues including shortage of potable drinking water in Gallote.
On the occasion, people demanded eletrification of uncovered areas and extension of PMGSY road from Chound to Upper Galliote besides they also sought upgradation of government schools of the area.
Pointing towards shortage of teaching staff in Government High School Galliote, the locals demanded posting of more teachers in the institution.
Assuring people of addressing their issues, MLC Jugal Kishore said that Congress is committed for holistic development of underdeveloped areas and being a loyal soldier of the party he is duty bound to follow its programmes and policies. Jugal further said that being a people's representative for the last fourteen years he had tried his best to fullfill his responsibility of providing basic necessities to the people residing in tough terrains adding that in future also he will leave no stone unturned to uplift the living standard of the down trodden and weaker sections. |
