Shamsher urges PM to take positive steps to end Indo Pak hostilities | | | Early Times Report POONCH, Sept 28: Expressing concerns over the ongoing row between Indian and Pakistan, Shamsher Hakla Poonchi, a prominent and an intellectual Gujjar leader of J&K today appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take positive steps to end hostilities between the two countries. In his press statement issued here today, Shamsher Hakla appealed to the Prime Minister of India to initiate meaningful dialogue between the two countries to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir Problem for a permanent and lasting settlement. Hakla Poonchi said that growing hostilities between the two countries is a course of deep concern for the whole of Asian Sub-Continent. He also expressed his concerns over tense valley and said that over 80 precious human lives have been lost during two and a half months long agitation in Jammu and Kashmir and that the economy of the state also received a serious set-back. He added the people across the state are worried under the disturbed atmosphere of Kashmir Valley. |
