Locals protest against teachers for not singing National Anthem 10/6/2016 10:22:44 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Oct 6: Inhabitants of village Khawas under Khawas tehsil in Rajouri district held protest demonstration against the teachers of government girls middle school for not singing National Anthem in the morning prayers for the last more than one week. They also demanded action against the teachers and asked the authorities to investigate the matter. On the complaints of the inhabitants of the area recently Vikram Singh, Principal ,higher secondary school along with Pardeep Kumar ,ZEO and police post in-charge rushed to the school for the verification and authentication of the complaint. "After spot verification the complaint was found genuine. Teachers were also questioned and they said that due to continuous inclement weather in the area the morning assembly couldn't be organized for few days" said Principal. He added that teachers have been asked to sing National Anthem and in this connection a written assurance has been taken from them. Dinsesh Kumar a social activist from the area said that they have recorded in the cameras that the concerned teachers were not singing National Anthem even after the morning assemblies were held.
