Separatists wall breached, people question logic behind continuous strike | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 6: The separatists' self-proclaimed writ has been finally questioned and breached. Small time private operators have finally come out questioning the logic of continuous call for strike, which is hurting the ordinary people more than the separatists than their hunch men. "We ask Geelani Sahab who will give food to our children"? How will they study? How will we pay our installments and why shops and other establishments are allowed to continue? We want justice?" said one of the protestors. Police sources said it's for the first time that people have come out in open to question the logic of the oldest and hardcore separatists leader, which hitherto was being discussed in the drawing room. "We were anticipating this type of reaction and we also feel that now that they wall which the separatists assumed would never be breached, has finally been breached. Now, there will be more such protests and once they start rolling there will be no end to it and separatists would be pushed to wall to such and extent that they would never be able to rebound," said a senior police official. Separatists are feeling the heat has for this reason decided to extend their "call" for about another month as they now have started getting feeling that the situation is getting out of their hands and it's their desperate act to further push the people to the subjugation. "They have been used to getting the support of people, as people always feared their measures. But, now they had crossed their threshold and also the fact that people, especially those from the lower starta of the society, which forms the bulk of the society, have started questioning their logic of "Azaadi' it clearly establishes the fact that they are now having their swan song," said a senior official. |
