CVTF hail setting up of post of Joint Director Education Office at Doda | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Oct 6: A meeting of Chenab Valley Teachers Federation (CVTF) Doda was called upon by its President Nisar Ahmed Banday to discuss the various issues regarding teachers community of the department. In the meeting large number of teachers from different zones of the District participated and expressed their gratitude in favour of authorities. The members of the federation hailed the State Govt decision and thanked Education Minister Naeem Akhtar for establishing and setting up of post of Joint Director Education Office at headquarter Doda. In the same voice supported by Low Paid Employees Federation Leaders Niaz Ahmed Rahi, Gh Hassan Pampori and Shakeel Ahmed Dev also welcomed and hailed this decision in the larger interest of public. In another historical decision hailed and welcomed by all the members of CVTF Doda, the laudable efforts made by MLA Doda Shri Shakti Raj Parihar, DDC Doda Bhupinder Kumar and CEO Doda Mohammad Ashrfa Rather for reverting back the RETs to their original place of posting. Banday criticized the monopolised policy of CEO Doda and some ZEOs for deploying the RETs and newly selected teachers as Resource Person for general line in service teachers training where as senior, experienced and highly qualified teachers have been ignored and not given them the chance for such training reasons better known to the concerned authorities. The CVTF Doda further demanded that a Legal Counsellor be engaged in CEO Office Doda instead of a teacher who can deal the case on meritorious status and unfair practice may be stopped besides the transparent transfer policy and the vacant posts of teachers be filled immediately so that everyone could enjoy the chance of transfer and adjustment of teachers should be done locally as per native place posting. Those present in the meeting were Khalid Iqbal Gattu, Dr Altaf, Amit, Jaswant Singh, Muzaffar Beig, Basit Suharwardy, Pawan Gupta, Ehtsham Rather, Mudassir Nazar, Bilal Ahmed, Rattan Kotwal, and Azhar Sheikh. |
