Jammu, Oct 14: National Secular Forum has constituted its unit for GGM Science College and appointed Navjoot Jasrotia and Vishal Chib as its chairman and president, respectively.
The unit was constituted during a meeting of the NSF, held in the college premises under the chairmanship of Dr Vikas Sharma NSF State president who also discussed the various issues and demands of the students. Vikas Verma has been appointed as vice-chairman. Anuj Jasrotia, Rahul Sharma, Arjun Gupta, Akash Sharma and Deepak kumar was appointed as Vice-President Shubum Sharma and Arun Sharma were appointed as General Secretary. Vikas Angural, Navdeep Slathia, Natesh Manhas and Navdeep Slathia were appointed as Secretary. Lakshadweep Singh appointed as Press-Secretary. Himenshu Mangotra was appointed as Cashier. Sandeep Sharma was appointed as Publicity Secretary while Raghu Partap Singh, Sheetal Slathia, Bawadita, Shubam Choudhary, Hardeep kumar, Rahul Digra, Aditya Sharma, Bhanu Sharma, Arun Sharma, Gorav Slathia, and others were elected members.
Addressing the meeting, Dr Vikas Sharma welcomed all the members in the organization and hoped that they will work unitedly for the organization. He also said the government has made hollow promises with thousands of youth in border villages. He criticized the government for neglecting youth belonging to border areas of Jammu province while carrying out the employment drive.
