Omar's stomachache spreads to several others in Valley | IIM to Jammu | | Early Times Report Jammu. Oct 14: A sinister campaign has started in the Kashmir against the sanctioning of the IIM in the Jammu, which though was already sanctioned in principal about an year ago, but was withheld by the state government for some political reasons. After Omar Abdullah in a twisted statement accused the Central government of blatant partisan approach by co-opting the State government, now the Kashmir Economic Alliance has come out against the IIM and had gone to the extent of saying that it is part of the plan for trifurcation of the state. KEA, which has only recently said that even if the daily loss of traders in the Kashmir is about Rs 110 crores, they will continue to observe shut down for permanent peace, has surprisingly started speaking against the sanctioning of the institution in the Jammu which it had never said before.' "This is nothing but the agenda of divide and to polarize the state towards the trifurcation as is being apprehended since the day this alliance came to power," said KEA chairman Haji Muhammad Yasin Khan. Political observers believe it's nothing but just another attempt to further vitiate the atmosphere by 'discrediting' the government on frivolous allegations. "KEA which all along has been highly critical of the Indian state and is also to an extent supporting azaadi for Kashmir is surprisingly supporting and Indian institutions in the Kashmir. By their logic they should have opposed any Indian institutions in the Kashmir. It's clearly just to further alienate the youth of Kashmir by projecting Modi led government has anti-Kashmiri so as to escalate the cycle of the violence," said a senior official. |
