RDD organizes Painting Competition 10/14/2016 11:29:51 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Oct 14: Rural Development Department (RDD) Kathua unit today organized a painting competition with the aim to aware people about cleanliness of village and surrounding areas under fortnight long cleanliness drive ' Swachta Pakhwara'. OD Attri Block Development Officer BDO kathua was the chief guest and main observer of the competition. Attri said," Fort night long programme Swachta Pakhwara has been organised with the aim to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for clean India by 2019. The progarmme was to aware people about Clean India especially villages and to minimize Open Defiant Free ODP. The officer informed that students from Government, Private and differently abled schools took part in the competition and winners would be rewarded on Concluding programme on Oct.15. BDO informed that a rally would be commenced from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park and move towards entire town and culminated at main venue at Sports stadium wherein Cultural Programmes, debate and seminar would be organised to aware the people about cleanliness.
