Team Sunderbani seeks immediate filling of Lecturer posts | | | Early Times Report
Sunderbani, Oct 16: Taking serious note over the shortage of Plus 2 lecturers' in the government Higher Secondary Schools in Rajouri District, Team Sunderbani demanded to administration to take immediate measures to safeguard the future of the rural students. According to press release, Arun Kumar Sharma, Coordinator Team Sunderbani while expressing serious concern over this matter pointed out that the government had failed to provide quality education to the students of rural areas as HSSS are facing crunch of teaching staff. "As many as 170 posts of the plus 2 lecturers are lying vacant in the government higher secondary schools in District Rajouri but instead of making a permanent arrangement by recruiting permanent staff government have engaged contractual lecturers who are being paid meager Rs 7000 per month for providing services in government the hr. sec. schools", they added.They also appealed the administration to increase the honorarium of the contractual appointees from 7000 to 15000 so that the students of the area will be able to get proper education in the government education institutions. |
