Flesh trade thrives at premiere educational Institute | Under-trial 'enjoys' in jail | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 16: Flesh trade is going on unabated in a premier educational institute in Jammu city, sources told Early Times. They alleged that girls are being supplied to an under-trial in a murder case in the institute. The high profile flesh trade racket is being run under the very nose of Police. A criminal, according to the sources, facing trial in connection with a murder case is exempted to attend the educational institute for Personal Contact Programme (PCP) for Post Graduate (PG) Course. "Despite the fact the said criminal is guarded by some cops some youth with criminal background frequently visit him", said a police source adding the criminals also supply girls to the under-trial. "The Sub-Inspector who is in-charge of a police post under whose jurisdiction educational institution falls has turned a blind eye and is acting as a mute spectator despite knowing everything," sources added. They said when officers of the Intelligence Wing of the police department reported the matter to their senior officers local police swung into action and detained some youth who used to meet the under-trial. These youth were set free after questioning and later the under-trial was also barred from attending the classes. |
