Devs Kids celebrates 12th annual day 10/16/2016 10:55:32 PM Early Times Report Katra, Oct 16: Devs Kids World School, , Kundorian, Katra today celebrated its 12th Annual Day Function at the Spiritual Growth Centre Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra Auditorium. The function began with lighting a lamp by the chief guest in presence of the special invitees Mohit Raina Tehsildar Katra, Dr. Ashok Kumar (DSP Katra) Dr. Udhay Bhanu, Shiv Kumar Sharma (President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association), Vipan Kumar (Vice President Management Committee Devs Kids World School) Ajay Gupta (Gen. Sec. Private School Association Jammu Province), Th. Ghansara Singh, Laddi Sharma, Subash Kerni, Ram Parkash, Jatinder Heera, Ramnik Sharma, Rameshwar Pandit, Arvind Sharma, Sharda Devi (Principal of host school) and Ajay Singh (Director of host School). Ajay Singh presented welcome address and Annual report and highlighted the academic and athletics achievements of the year which includes kho-kho, Kabadi, wrestling, Cricket and shooting etc. A colorful cultural programme was presented on the occasion with the aim to in inculcate the dedication, sincerity and duties of citizens besides Folk Songs representing local culture and unity in diversity. Dr. Chandan Sharma (Registrar Medical Collage Jammu) honoured by management committee of host school for rendering social services in the society. Chief Guest congratulated the Management and staff member of the school for taking keen interest for all round development of the students besides performance shown by the student is appreciable. He also hailed the efforts of the school for imparting quality education to the students. They also gave away the prizes to the Position holders of 8th class namely Anjali Sharma , Aakriti Kotwal and Arnav Kanthia and winner of different events besides management also presented mementos to the chief guest and guest of honour and special guest. Anupam Sharma conducted the proceeding of the function besides Smt.
