Bailable warrants against RDD secy for non compliance of court directions | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 25: High court judge Alok Aradhe has issued bailable warrants against the RDD (Rural Development Department) Secretary for non-compliance of court orders as regards the promotion of an engineer. The court directive came in a petition filed by Ashok Kumar Pargotra (presently incharge XEn) who had sought the compliance of May 1, 2009 court directions whereby the respondents were ordered to convene DPC and regularise the incharge promotion of the petitioner as an assistant engineer given to him in 2002 with effect from 1995 as his juniors were promoted from 1995. The respondents had also been directed to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of further promotions as AEE and XEn. Justice Aradhe, after hearing the engineer's counsel, who submitted that the court directions 'remain uncomplied for the last seven years', took a serious note of this intentional failure of the respondents to implement and obey the court orders and issued bailable warrants to the sum of Rs 5,000 against the RDD secretary. The RDD secretary was also ordered to appear before the court on November 15, 2016. |
