| Bailable warrants against CLVH GM | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 25: The J&K high court has issued a bailable warrant against default General Manager of Central Lake View Hotel, SKICC, over non-adherence of its order and directed SSP Srinagar to execute it.
Hearing a petition filed by the one who was selected as telephone operator, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey directed appearance of the general manager on November 9 .
"Respondents are directed to ensure appearance of their counsel. In default, CLVH General Manager is directed to appear in person. Today neither counsel nor the general manager is present in person, leaving the court with no option but to seek the presence of general manager by coercive methods," the court observed and directed registry to issue bailable warrant of Rs 2000 for seeking the presence of the general manager.
On the basis of the process of selection initiated in terms of notification dated February 3, 2015, the petitioner had been selected as telephone operator in terms of the order dated July 1, 2015. He had submitted in his plea that he joined on the same date as was provided in the notification but the respondents had kept his order on hold.
The petitioner submitted that the impugned order had caused prejudice to his rights and the respondents should adhere to the procedure established under rules. |
