| NSF holds protest against JU authorities, flays VC's dictatorship | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 25: National Secular Forum MAM College unit today held massive protest against the University of Jammu for its failure in providing adequate academic arrangements for the Students fraternity.
Scores of activists led by NSF General Secretary MAM College unit raised slogans against the university authorities and said that the semester system adopted by the University is against the interest of the student community.
As per the Controller Examination, University of Jammu, exams for Graduation IST, 3rd, semesters are approaching next month but syllabus for the said semester was yet not completed.
"The Vice Chancellor University of Jammu makes rhetoric on Facebook pages with respect to timely conduct of the examinations but who will own the responsibility for timely completion of syllabi so that students could prepare themselves to take examinations" he said while alleging the University administration of being inefficient to implement the semester system effectively.
Further flaying the university authorities of speaking as per their convenience they said that on the one side authorities' harp on the timely conduct of examination to its annual calendar but when it comes to declaration of result it fails to deliver with respect to enforce timeliness in the same as per the guidelines.
Among those who were present in the protest included Mohit Slathia, Vipul, Rahul Sharma,Vikas Kumar, Arun Manhas,Bharat Singh and others. |
