| Prof Aima appointed member of governing body IIM Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 25 : The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu Prof. Ashok Aima has been appointed as member of the First Governing body of the Society of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu.
The communication in this regard received by Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India, wherein Prof. Ashok Aima has been appointed as member of first Governing body of the Society of IIM, Jammu.
The other Members in the Governing Body from J&K included Chief Secretary Brij Raj Sharma and Asgar Hasan Samoon, Secretary Higher Education, Government of J&K.
It's pertinent to mention here that Prof. Ashok Aima received this prestigious assignment because of his rich academic background and his vast experience in the field of research. Due to this acumen he was appointed as member Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) earlier this year.
As per communication Vinay Sheel Oberoi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, MHRD has been appointed as chairman while other members are Darshana M. Dabral, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Higher Education MHRD, Anil Dattaraya Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE, Parveen Kumar, Joint Secretary (Technical Education) Department of Higher Education MHRD and Prof. Ajit Prasad, Mentoring Director, Indian Institute of Lucknow.
All the faculty and staff members of CUJ have congratulated Prof. Ashok Aima for this new prestigious assignment. |
