Seven cases of unfair means detected at examination centre by CEO | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 27: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri today paid surprise visit to 12th class examination centre and found 7 students indulged in copying at government higher secondary school at Samote under Kotranka Education Zone. Sources said the CEO had received several complaints about the mass copying in this centre in nexus with the examination staff during the final examination under winter zone session. Besides seven cases of unfair means were framed by the examination superintendent and were sent to J&K Board of School Education(BOSE) authorities, Ch Alraf Hussain , CEO has also warned the examination staff about strict action if such cases of copying were detucted in the future. Sources said that Ch Altaf Hussain , CEO today made straight visit to the examination centre at Government Higher Secondary School at Samote under Kotranka Education Zone and during checking found 7 students indulged in copying in the Urdu subject paper examination. On the direction of the CEO, Examination Superintendent prepared the cases and forwarded to the J&K Board authorities for further action. "Many measures have been taken to stop the menace of copying besides many other initiatives to reform examinations at elementary, secondary and higher secondary classes. But still many homework is to be done in this connection" said CEO. |
