Chief spokesperson, JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma, who toured the areas like Seri and Makri, which fall ahead of the border fence near Jhangar of Nowshera sector and witnessing intensive shelling from Pakistani side during past few days, urged the government to make ambulances available in the villages and dug up trenches near mohallahs and schools and provision of adequate ration distribution for the people. They also demanded "weapons for self-defence" for the villagers. The Congress leaders also asked the government to built colonies at safer places with provision of a single-room accommodation and waiver of KCC loans for the border residents. |
