Pakistan violated ceasefire in Keran sector, one BSF jawan and three locals injured

Kupwara, Oct 29: The day after army jawan was martyred in an encounter with militants in Machil sector, One BSF jawan and three local residents were injured today in a ceasefire violation in Keran sector of Kupwara district of north Kashmir.According to highly placed sources that, there was a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Keran sector today in which one Jawan of Border Security Forces (BSF) two children and a lady were injured.
Shaheen Begum W/O Ashiq Hussain Khan R/O Keran was injured today in a Pakistani firing in Keran sector, while as the others were not identified immediately including BSF jawan, sources told early times.
Meanwhile a senior police official said that, on Oct 27, one army jawan Sandeep Singh Rawat was Martyred while as another was critically injured in an encounter that had broke out between militants and security forces in Tangdhar sector of this bordeThe jawan succumbs to his injuries today who was later identified as Nitin Subash, while as one one Indian solider got martyred yesterday late evening in Machil sector whose body was mutilated by Pakistani militants, taking death toll to three in Kupwara district this week, the official said.
The official said that, one militant was also gunned down by security forces in Machil sector yesterday late evening and army is giving the befitting reply to Pakistan with full capability.r However if sources are to be believed they said that, one BSF jawan killed, two children and woman were injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Keran sector today.
Tough it was not confirmed by the top police and army officials about the causality of any BSF jawan, where as the sources said that a lady namely Shaheena Begum has been injured in a ceasefire violation in Keran sector.
It is pertinent to mention here that, infiltration bids have increased in Kupwara district and other parts of north Kashmir from past several months.
