| PDP leader condemns attack on journalist in Poonch | | | Early Times Report
poonch, Nov 16: Advocate Nadeeem Rafiq Hussain Khan Senior PDP leader said that the Fourth pillar of democracy is being curbed by the gonda elements under political patronization .The police administration is also not taking seriously such matters and is hand in glove with political party which is national conference.
M S Nazki Senior Journalist of Mendhar Poonch was attacked by drivers and workers of National Conference by using govt. gypsy to hit and kill Nazki but luckly he was safe. The case was registered in the police station Mendhar against the accused driver without his associates who conspired against Nazki but later on he was released on the directions higher ups as he was police constable .
The govt.should take cognizance of the case and appoint special officer to enquire into the episode so that all such persons who are involved be taken into task and punished. Nazki is journalist who reports for print and electronic media. Sometimes he exposes the officials and political leaders involved in land grabbing, corruption, general issues of public etc.
Chief Minister of the State is requested to personally take the cognizance of the matter. |
