| Complete pen down strike observed across Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 16: A complete pen down strike was observed in all the government offices/PSU's/semi-government offices across all the district headquarters of jammu division on the call given by President, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh all departments clerical staff Association, Babu Hussain Malik.
They protested against the state government for failing in implementing its agreement of removing the pay anomalies of the clerical cadre.
The main burning demands of the clerical cadre at this moment is removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving grade of 4000-6000 to junior assistant and 4500-7000 to senior assistant and 5500-9000 to head assistant and junior stenographer notionally.
The other burning demands of employee includes: D.P.C in all the departments after every 6 months and recoganization of thye clerical cadre outside the civil secretariat on the pattern of civil secretariat, Implementation of the 7th pay commission on the pattern of central government in the state, Increase of medical allowance from 300 to 2000.
They urged the chief minister to consider their demands. |
