Jammu, Nov 30: Central University of Jammu (CUJ) organized two- days' NSDC-Udaan mega placement drive here at Temporary Academic Block (TAB) Sainik Colony, Jammu. About fifteen Corporates representing a wide range of sectors like Security Services, IT, ITES, Hospital Management, Infra, Automobile Sector, Logistics, etc participated during the two days. Some of corporates, which participated in this drive, includes Tata Motors, Experis, Quess Corp, SE-Biz,KPMG,Darcl Logistics, Sahay, Apollo, Technopak, Ligare, Multicare, Safe Express, and Rooman Technologies in this two days placement drive. During the two days' placement drive 167 students appeared for the interviews out of which 102 students cleared the first round. Some of the Companies will conduct second round of interviews for final placements.
Around 20 students from the Department of Mathematics, Central University of Jammu were also selected for internship.
Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu praised the Placement Cell of the University and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for their efforts and said that CUJ shall try to provide every support to conduct such events in future as well for the benefit of educated youth of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. |
