JAMMU, Dec 8: Senior Vice President JKPCC and Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma today slammed National Conference President Farooq Abdullah for his remarks that his party is not against separatist Hurriyat and also saying PoK is a part of Pakistanand described Farooq's deliberate attempt to rake up the issue in order to remain in news. Addressing monthly meeting of Block Congress Committee Akhnoor, the senior Congress leader Mr Sharma said that he is the same Farooq, who used to release statements against Hurriyat Conference and suddenly he wants to move forward on the path of Hurriyat. "The NC president Farooq Abdullah's statement has hurt the sentiments of Jammu people, he said. Congress fire brand leader further said, "Though Mr Abdullah knows that the turmoil in the valley is the creation of the Hurriyat leaders yet his recent statements made by him are unfortunate. Slamming Farooq Abdullah for his recent remarks saying PoK doesn't not belong to India, Sharma giving NC President Farooq Abdullah in same coin categorically underlined that PoK is part and parcel of J&K, India and do not belong to Late Sheikh Abdullah giving the . Here it needs to mention Farooq recently has said Pok is not the paternal property of centre (India) on the other day. Mr Sharma however added that we need not to indulge in politics so far as the turmoil in the valley is concerned. He further said keeping the party politics away, we ought to consider various ways and means which can resolve the prevailing crisis in the valley. Meanwhile referring to issue of demonetisation Sham said that we welcome this step but the government had failed to implement it properly. Sham expressed surprised that after demonetisation the persons having direct or indirect affiliation with BJP have been caught red handed with black money which amply proves that BJP people were in know about the demonetisation well in advance. He further said that two ministers of J&K cabinet were in whose possession of huge amount was found in their official car by the police but no action under the law was taken against them. "Even their names were not disclosed by the government, he regretted. Referring to various reports, he said production and business in the entire country has been badly affected after post demonetization. "There is resentment among people which is being ignored by the government. Trade and industry stakeholders are also in trouble due to the decision," he said. |
