ReTs to stage massive protest on Dec 13 12/8/2016 10:15:19 PM Sushil Dutta Early Times Report Rajouri, Dec 8: Rehbar e Taleem (ReT) teachers of state are going to stage massive protest outside Press Club Jammu on December 13 to press upon state government for early redressal of their long pending grievances. In a statement, issued here today Jammu Kashmir Rehbar- e -Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) General Secretary Jahanger Alam Khan stated that the executive body of the forum which met in Jammu under the Chairmanship of Farooq Ahmad Tantray has resolved to stage protest march from Press Club Jammu and proceed for Secretariat Gheroa on December 13. In his statement Khan lashed out at the callous attitude of the Education Department and arbitrary polices of the state government viz-a-viz the Rehbar-e-Taleem teaching community. Highlighting various demands, he said the concerned department has failed to redress the problems being faced by the Rehbar -e -Taleem teachers including release of last five months salaries, regularization of ReTs who obtained degrees from UGC recognized universities and harassing of ReT teachers through Screening Test.
