| Foggy 'n' cold weather affects normal life In Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur. Dec 8: The foggy weather conditions which have gripped the northern parts of India also affected the normal life in Udhampur on Thursday.
A thick fog enveloping most parts of Udhampur especially from Mian Bagh to Dhar Road today morning while intense cold further threw the life out of gear in Udhampur. People were forced to begin their day late due to fog, which also cause inconvenience bikers and other commuters due to low visibility.
Traffic snarls were witnessed on Dhar Road Udhampur, which witnessed a chilly morning here today while many drivers were seen switching on fog lights to get some visibility.
School going children also got affected most as they have to be draped in heavy woolen clothing while farming community too is, worst sufferers which failed to make best of sowing season due to ongoing dry and cold weather conditions.
Meanwhile some police personnel were seen dedicatedly performing their duties on national highway near Roun Domail who were noticed advising drivers to switch on fog lights and to follow other precautionary instructions while driving in foggy weather. |
