| FIR against revenue officials for fake registration of land | | | MS Nazki

Mendhar, Dec 8: Munsiff Court of Mendhar directed to lodge FIR against the then girdawar and patwari for the charges of fake registration of 8 kanal land in Mendhar.
Mohd Bashir son of Akka of Chak Banola Mendhar had lodged a complaint before the court seeking action against the then girdawar now Naib tehsildar Harni Abdul Kabir and Patwari Janbaaz Khan who lured the complainant of Rs. 1.27 lakh for the fake registration of his land.
Sources said the revenue officials first made registration of a piece of land in the name of complainant which actually was land of cremation ground as per the revenue records. Later on another registration was made which turned out to be fake too.
The complainant lodged the complaint in the court of Munsiff who issued an order directing police to file FIR against the revenue officials.
Locals alleged that fake registrations of land were on sale in Mendhar against monetary benefits alleged some locals.
FIR No. 185, under sections 420/467 and 468 stands registered in Police Station Mendhar under RPC but police made no arrests till last report came in. |
