| PAF flays present govt over prevailing 'inauguration Culture' | | | Early Times Report
kishtwar, Dec 8: President Public Awareness Front (PAF) Kishtwar Shakir Saddiqui today flayed the government over the prevailing 'inauguration Culture' and abandoning the prestigious development projects inaugurated in Kishtwar from time to time.
While talking to Early Times, PAF President said that the forest Minister Chowdhary Lal Singh for abandoning the prestigious project of Forest Training Center at Pochhal village of Kishtwar by former Forest Minister Bali Baghat; now health Minister in PDP-BJP government on 14/11/2015.
He said that the than Forest Minister in his speech at the time of the inauguration of these two projects and direction made by him stated that the Forest Training Center will be made functional by April 2016, "But rued that till date no step has been taken by the present forest minister to fulfill the promise, he said adding, "instead laying foundation stone and later abandon the project."
PAF president said that successive governments without considering whosoever started the project should complete them.
He also asked the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to fulfill the promise made by the Government Minister in this behalf by directing the present Forest Minister to complete the projects left abandoned by his department. "Government had spent huge amount on digging 1000 feet tube well pump near Saffron Safari building at Pochhal to overcome the scarcity of water problem in area in 2014, he said, adding, "despite lapse of two years that too is still incomplete."
He sought government intervention to monitor completion of pending works and projects instead of befooling innocent masses. |
