Model Academy wins inter school group song competition 12/8/2016 10:43:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 8: Model Academy, the prestigious School of MIER in its ongoing effort to pay tribute to the valiant soldiers participated in an Inter School Patriotic Group Song competition organized by the Rajya Sainik Board in connection with the Armed Forces Flag Day at Tiger Auditorium. N.N. Vohra, Governor Jammu and Kashmir was the chief guest on the occasion. B.R. Sharma Chief Secretary was the Guest of Honour, whereas, Anjali Sharma Director Doord-arshan was the Special Guest. Six top ranking schools of Jammu participated in the competition and Model Academy B.C Road bagged the first prize. They were honoured with merit certificates and a cash prize of Rs. 7000. As a gesture of goodwill, the school donated the cash prize towards Armed Forces Flag Day.
