| JKATA calls on director agriculture Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 8: A delegation led by state President Jammu and Kashmir agriculture technocrats association JKATA Surinder Radotra met with Director Agriculture Jammu A.K.Malhotra and submitted memorandum regarding core burning issues of VAEAs at conference hall Krishi Bhawan Talab Tillo Jammu.
Radotra discussed different issues like pending salary, inclusion of 7-8-9 years of service as REZ in regular service for old pension benefits, reconsider grade pay at per JAEOs and framing of service rules.
Director Agriculture gave a patient hearing to the demands. Director said that department held meeting with finance regarding salary and arrears of 2nd and 3rd batch VAEAs for which the funds are approved and will be issued within days. Malhotra said as the length of service for the most VAEA is less and inclusion of services as REZ in regular service will help them in pension benefits. For this director said that work is in process and will be addressed at the urliest.
On the issue of stagnation in the department Dr.Malhota said that he is framing a strategy to remove it and assured that within his remaining tenure department will see healthy changes regarding removal of stagnation among different posts in the department.
