| JKGTF holds meeting at Samba | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Dec 8: An organizational meeting of Jammu Kashmir Government teacher's forum was held at Rest House Samba in which more than more than 200 teachers participated. The main motto of this meeting was to elect district level body of JKGTF for District Samba in which Surjeet Singh and Rupa Sambyal were elected Presidents of male wing and female wing JKGTF for district Samba respectively.
Since long time there was an exigency to form district level and zonal level bodies of JKGTF because the demands of the teachers at the zonal level were not properly conveyed to the core committee of Central body.
It is proper to mention that the salary problem for the Teachers in SSA Ramsa is not a new one. For the last 4 months teachers under SSA & RAMSA are without salary. Besides this there were also burning issues of Ret Teachers like Screening Test etc.
The regularization of in charge lecturers & adjustment of promote masters from the list of 2014 were also other issues of importance. Speaking on the occasion, Forum State Chairman Amar Nath Thakur & State President Satish Dutta welcomed the newly elected presidents & other office bearers.
They said it is the duty of the office bearers to work for the interest of the teaching community with full zeal. They also exhorted the teaching community to work for the betterment of students for their bright future.
Surjeet Singh in his address thanked the teaching fraternity for the faith they have shown in choosing him as District President male wing. He said he will try to come on their expectations. |
