JPPF resolves to thwart nefarious designs of anti-national forces

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 11: Reiterating it resolve to thwart anti-national forces and other vested interest with nefarious designs engaged in disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu region, the Jammu Province People's Forum (JPPF) has warned forces inimical to the social fabric not to conspire to create a divide in the society on communal and regional lines.
Addressing a meeting, president JPPF, Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj cautioned the public to identify and beware of the antinational and anti-social elements within the government machinery and some of the politicians who are responsible for creating unrest and chaos in Jammu region.
Speaking on the rape and murder case of Asifa an eight year poor innocent girl, president said whole Jammu province stood united to identify the actual culprit by ordering CBI enquiry to ensure rare of the rarest punishment. Since the enquiry ordered by the state government through its crime branch is fishing in troubled water sending a wrong signal across the society. JPPF is at a loss to understand the rigidity and the adamancy of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for sticking to the enquiry by crime branch only and categorically rejected the genuine demand of public for handing over the inquiry to CBI.
Suppressing the voice of people by use of brutal police force on the peacefully demonstrating innocent public has caused anger and unrest in Jammu, Kathua and Samba.
Speaking on the cordial relations of Tribals- Gujjars & Bakarwals with the minority community in Jammu from the times immemorial, president said that they are the nationalistic people and there have been living peacefully with no conflict of any kind amongst them. He further said that the public agitation going on in Sunderbani, Nowshera and Kalakote for carving a district at Nowshera has been tackled in such a way that the unrest and turmoil should continue in the area to keep the pot boiling, otherwise Nowshera has all the qualities to become a district as compared with Kulgam and Gandarbal in Kashmir.
Despite public anger against Rohingyas settlement and immediate deportation, he said the problem is hanging fire, which is a security hazard and risk.
