Jammu, Mar 11: Consequent upon the approval of the constitution of the Interaction Forum Jammu Province (IFJP) in its 2nd Annual Day Function organized on 23-1-2018 at Abhinav Theatre Jammu a, "General Body" meeting of the Forum was held on 11-3-2018 in its provincial office which was participated by its founder members.
The IFJP has unanimously constituted various bodies. Justice OP Sharma, (retd) B.R. Kundal former Chief Secretary and M.C. Mehta Megsaysay Awardee were honoured as Chief Patrons, K.B. Jandial IAS,(retd) Dr. Harbans Singh Ex. VC SAKUST, Irshad Ahmed Hamal Ex. Vice Chancellor BGSBU, Harbans Lal former District and Session Judge, H.C Jalmeria Advocate, C.L. Dhiman Ex MLC, Ashok Sharma Ex MLA, Dr. Y.P Sawhney as Patrons. B. S. Jamwal former Deputy Commissioner was elected as Chairman, Capt Lalit Sharma IFS, as Secretary General, H.S Bilouria as Coordinator and B.L. Verma as Treasurer of IFJP of the Forum. Hari OM Singh District and Sessions Judge (retd) was elected as Provincial President and Mohammad Usman Salaria, Advocate, as General Secretary.
It was unanimously decided to constitute the youth and women wing of the Forum at the earliest. |
