CEO Rajouri suspends 3 officials for violating guidelines

Rajouri, Mar 11: Chief Education officer (CEO) Rajouri has suspended three officials for violating guidelines laid down by the Education Department vide its circular dated 22/2/2018 for the smooth conduct of class 10th and 12th examinations.
On the recommendation of CEO, District Development Commissioner (DDC) has also issued order for the replacement of examination superintendent of examination centre No.4612 established in government HSS at Ghambir Mughlan and CEO also sought explanation from the principal of the school for not bringing the violation of guidlines into the notice of CEO.
As per circular of Education Department dt.22/2/18 , it was specifically mentioned that no subject teachers shall perform the supervisory duty in the examination centre.
On some complaints of violation of circular guidelines , Ch. Lal Hussain, Chief Education Officer (CEO) paid surprise visit to centre No.4612 in government HSS at Ghambir Mughlan (Manjakot Education Zone) and found that one Chemistry teacher namely Sajhida Kosser was performing the supervisory duty during Chemistry paper.
" Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) informed that Mohd Sharief and Lokesh Kumar , both zonal resource persons (ZRPs) were directed to appoint supervisors for the conduct of the examinations" said CEO.
He added during initial investigation it was established that the circular guidelines were violated by the ZEO, Manjakot, both the ZRPs and Sajhida Kosser.
CEO vide his office order dt 9/3/18 and vide approval by the DDC office vide order No.DDCR/P&S/edu-01/2017-18, has placed under suspension both the ZRPs and teacher Sajhida and an inquiry has been initiated for not performing their legitimate duties properly.
CEO has also replaced the examination superintendent on the directions from the DDC.Vide his office letter No CEOR/PS/2017-18 , Ch Lal Hussain, CEO has also sought explanation from the principal of the school for dereliction of being overall in-charge of examination and head of the school.
