Samba, Mar 11: Ramgarh Cricket Club (RCC) shines in Jai Baba Santokh Nath ji 20-20 tournament in memory of late Mr Raman Gupta. Ramgarh Cricket Club RCC thrashed Nagrota Cricket Club (NCC) XI by a margin of 6 runs at Smailpur Cricket Stadium, here today. The series is being organized by Dr Ravi Gupta, Dilawar Singh, Rajveer Singh, Sunny Gupta and Raju Chalotra. After winning toss, RCC chose to bat first and set a target of 155 runs all out in stipulated 20 overs. Shubham scored highest 55 runs off 36 balls, while Vicky scored 37 runs off 31 balls. For Nagrota Cricket Club, Sahil, Madan, Rajinder, Jatinder took two wickets each. Deep and Rahul also took one wicket each. Chasing target, Nagrota Cricket Club were all out on 143 runs and lost the match. Kaka scored highest 41 runs in 19 balls for the team while Vikas scored 24 runs in 21 balls. From Ramgarh cricket club, Rahul, Mannu, Sandeep and amu shared 2 wickets each. Vicky also took 1 wicket. Shubham was declared as the man of the match for his all round performance in the match and also declared as man of the series. Former minister and NC senior leader Surjeet Singh Slathia was the chief guest on the occasion. Aman Cheema, provincial Joint Secy YNC Jammu was guest of the honour. Mukesh Sharma, Swaran Singh Charak also presided the function. The guests distributed trophies among the winners and runners-up teams. Sunbro Sunil Industry also sponsored the bats to the organising team. Umpiring was done by Daljit Singh and Gulshan Chalotra. Purshottam Singh was adjudged best worker.
