| 3 years RI to mini bus driver | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20: CJM Jammu Ashwani Sharma today awarded three years rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 1000/- for the commission of offence under section 304-A of the RPC an imprisonment for one month for the commission of offence under section 279 of the RPC to Murad Ali mini bus driver.
On 30-01-2005, a Matador bearing No. JKo2E-0957 on its way to Ban Talab hit a girl standing by the side of the road. The injured namely Mansi Raina sustained injuries and succumbed to the same. The matador driver ran away after the accident. An FIR for the commission of offences under sections 279/304-A of RPC was registered and investigation commenced. After its conclusion a challan for the commission of offences under sections 279/334-A of RPC was submitted against the accused in the Court. |
