Jammu, Mar 20: A free medical checkup and awareness camp was organized by the departments of Kaumarbhritya and Shalakya Tantra of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) at SRP Model high school, Bhalwal, Jammu today, under the supervision of Dr. Nikhil Sharma (Assistant Prof. Kaumarbhritya) and Dr. Ankush Bhardwaj (Assistant Prof. Shalakya Tantra)
A total of 117 students and staff members were thoroughly examined and given free consultation by the visiting doctors.
Free medicine was dispensed by the institute during the camp. The initiative was appreciated by the Principal, Suresh Chander Sharma, school staff and the parents. Avtar Singh, Shivani, Chanderdeep, Nisha Raina, Sahil Sharma, Lilly (Interns) and Shakul Gupta (student, BAMS 3rd prof.) too were present in the camp and helped appropriately. Dr. Nikhil Sharma and Dr. Ankush Bhardwaj praised chairperson JIAR, Suman Sharma, Principal, Dr. Raghuvir Singh, Vice principal, Dr. Nitin Mahajan for their help to organize and conduct the whole event smoothly. |
