Vice President, Guv & others greet J&K Mountaineering Association

Jammu, Mar 20: Vice President of India, the Governor of J&K, Union Minister for Sports and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh have sent greetings and good wishes to Mountaineering Association of J&K on the eve of 1st IMF National Sport Climbing Competition for Visually Challenged Climbers scheduled to be organized by Mountaineering Association of J&K at Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, Jammu from 27th to 28th March, 2018.
In his message the Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu has expressed his happiness to know that 'Mountaineering Association of J&K is organizing the 1st IMF National Sport Climbing Competition for Visually Challenged climbers from March 27-28 at Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, Jammu.
He has extended his greetings and congratulations to the organizers and the participants and wished the event all success. The Governor of J&K N N Vohra in his message has complimented "Mountaineering Association of J&K for promoting adventure activities in the state by organizing trekking, mountaineering and rock and sport climbing camps for the past over three decades" He has appreciated "the Association's initiative to organize an opportunity for Visually Challenged climbers to participate in sport climbing" He has also congratulated the Mountaineering Association of J&K for enabling 150 visually challenged persons to participate in the forthcoming Sport Climbing Championship. Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has also expressed his happiness "to know that Mountaineering Association of J&K is hosting the 1st National Sport Climbing Competition for Visually Challenged climbers on 27th and 28th March, 2018 at Jammu". In his message he says "India has a rich heritage of sports and games. Sports serve as an excellent physical and mental exercise.
Similar messages of good wishes, greetings and congratulations have also been received from Union Minister for Sports Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and some other dignitaries.
