JAMMU, Mar 20: Taking forward the community policing initiative of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Udhampur Police organised Sports events for male and female youth organised under Civic Action Programme 2017-18 which was today declared open by Rayees Mohammad Bhat, SSP Udhampur in presence of Additional SP, Faisel Qureshi, DySP HQ, Kameshwar Puri, Inspector, Sanjeev Gupta SHO Udhampur and other officers and officials of Police/civil administration and prominent citizens of the area.
SSP Udhampur, Rayees Mohd. Bhat while speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of sports in civilized societies. He said that sports always act as a channel to bring the youth closer and closer to police and Jammu and Kashmir Police is vigorously working in that sphere.
Volley ball matches, Badminton matches and Hand ball matches under different categories of male and female were played today at mini stadium Udhampur organised under CAP 2017-18 of Jammu and Kashmir Police. |
